Message	larger turbos.. A pair of turbos with larger turbine wheels in which the exhaust gases coming out of the heads have to pass through would have a larger surface area and less resistance (backpressure) than teeny small turbines that stock turbos would be equipped with. To my understanding, the less backpressure you have, the easier time the piston would have on the exhaust stroke and the more efficient the motor would run.
